What is the gallbladder ?

Gallbladder is a small organ that’s located just below the liver and above the pancreas. Our gallbladder is a storage sac for bile and is responsible for producing and delivering bile for our digestion system.

What is bile?

It’s a dark green brownish fluid that helps emulsify fat when digesting foods, bile aids and helps with the digestion of protein and lipides in the intestines.

Bile consists of 85% water which helps keep our intestines stay moist and hydrated able to push food particles through our passage with ease. Often dehydration of the intestines can result in constipation and can often give problems when passing foods. This is often why people whom drink lots of beer and caffine in their diet often dehydrate the intestines and suffer for passing problems like consitpation.
