Basic fitness & health psychology

Fitness and health are often the difficult concepts of psychology,  negative thought patterns are a common problem when these words are spoken.

People often associate fitness to phases such like- should have, could have, would have.

What’s the first frequent questions  we ask ourselves when thinking about fitness?

  • How can I find the time?
  • What exercise should I do?
  • Where should I go?
  • Who should I ask?

These questions will often to lead to the same answer- I will do it next week, month or year!

It’s normal for every person to put things off in some way or another.

When first choosing a exercise plan, program  people often  commit themselves too much. Like they make a full lifestyle change in one minute, I should do this everyday!  This will normally lead to the same outcome as above.

You miss one session, then another and before you know it you have built a psychological wall for fitness.

For example, have you ever noticed ,when you forget to phone someone you normally say to yourself  I will phone them tomorrow, then you keep repeating the question until you feel uncomfortable,  then you leave it too long and you don’t want to speak to the person anymore.

This is a mirror pattern to fitness, often people miss a session, then keep doing it until they feel like they can never go back, because they feel uncomfortable about the questions you will be asked. When the real truth is, it really doesn’t matter, people are often not thinking the same questions that revolve in your head, least I think not ?

You need is regular training program, you need to make sure that you keep inventing new routines into your daily life. This will help motivate you and keep you interested in find new alternatives, try something you’ve never done before!

Just because you miss one session doesn’t mean you can never go back, just like reading a book. You read whenever you can, fitness and health are great for the mind body and soul.

psychologically fitness is great and you can feel great everyday, don’t punish yourself by putting things off, do them as soon as possible.

If you need help use the Internet to find training programs, you can join a local running club these are easy to locate and great fun.

When moving into a new area relocating your life, you can meet with interesting positive people. Great for any information you would like to gather, you can also look at maybe starting a dance class like salsa it’s a great work out and you’ll enjoy learning a new skill.
