Why diet?
Stupid question with a reasonable answer, we often diet so that we can lose weight, obvious you might think but often wrong. Did you know that nearly 97% of people whom choose to diet often put more weight on a year after completing, on average 3.5 kg is added to the same weight they started at before completing the diet.
Their are an enormous range of diets and supplements available on today’s market, its so hard to pick the right one, each supplement or diet often target different food sources. Whether we are eating only protein food much like the so famous Atkins diet, souping your way to the next dress size down or maybe separating your carbs, proteins and fats at meal times. The truth of diets is that they are not the answer to long on going weight loss.
Weight loss has to be a change in pattern for you, diets may often help you drop a few pounds but you must notice how eas it is to put it all back on?
Most of the books and videos are just a money making scheme. Just 3% of all diets work and first you have to find the right diet for yourself.
How o you choose the right diet?
How can you find the 3% that work?
Well lets say for example your friend has been handed you the latest hype in the dieting world, the friend which handed you this information tells you about the amazing lost 2lbs of weight over the last 3 weeks and promotes the plan to you. Do you think you could lose the same in such short time ?
If your answer is yes then think twice ! Every human body is different from the next and what works for one person may not work for you. If it does then normally this will mean that the diet is not aiming at fat loss but muscle tissue loss too.
Once you lose muscle its near enough impossible to replace it ! this brings down your BMI (body mass index) this tells you how many calories you burn aday without exercise, the more muscle the more you burn.
If starting a new diet plan contact your local G.P. Show them the plan in which your interested in starting
Remember the key to losing weight is regular fitness and a balanced diet.
