Minerals are the foundation of your body. They help make enzymes and hormones, amongst other things!

There are two types of minerals: macrominerals (calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, sodium, potassium, chloride and sulphur), which you require more of and trace minerals (such as iron, manganese, copper, iodine, zinc, cobalt, fluoride and selenium).

But no matter what kind you have in abundance or shortage, both groups play important roles for maintaining good health.
